An area rug can be the perfect finishing touch for your dining space! Rug Size If you plan on placing a rug right under your dining table, make sure that it extends at least 24” to 30” inches beyond the edge of the table. This helps make sure that the rug is able to efficiently accommodate for the dining chairs as well.
