Table and Bench
Our dining tables are meticulously crafted in-house from solid Knotty Alder hardwood, designed for everyday use and built to last as your next heirloom. Each table is hand-finished in your choice of color and sealed with a durable polyurethane coating to protect the surface. Surface knots are filled for a smooth finish, while others remain open to highlight the wood’s natural beauty.

Chairs
This set includes four of our Double X-Back Dining Chairs, which are sourced from a trusted USA-based partner and expertly crafted from high-quality maple hardwood. Each chair arrives fully assembled and is designed to meet our rigorous standards of quality and craftsmanship, offering both durability and style to enhance your dining space.

Finish Compatibility
Please note that due to natural variations in wood, the finishes on the table and chairs may not be an exact match. However, the chair finish is thoughtfully designed to complement the stain of the table, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious dining set.

Farmhouse Dining Table Dimensions:
- Tabletop Thickness: Approx. 1.75”
- Apron Height (Frame): 3.5”
- Clearance Underneath Apron: Subtract 5.25” from the table height you choose.
- Distance Between Table Legs (Sides): Subtract 14” from the total length.
- Distance Between Table Legs (Ends): Subtract 12” from the total width.

Farmhouse Bench Dimensions:
- Overall: 14”D x 17”H
- Bench Top Thickness: 1.75”
- Bench Apron (frame): 3.5” tall

This bench is designed to be 1.5 feet shorter than the table length, allowing it to slide comfortably between the legs for a practical and visually seamless fit.

Double X-Back Dining Chair Dimensions:
- Overall: 21.5”W x 24”D x 41”H
- Seat: 19”W x 16.5”D x 18”H
- Back Height from Seat: 24.5”

Please note that each measurement is an approximation, as these pieces are hand-built. We allow for up to 1" in variation to accommodate the unique nature of handcrafted furniture.

For daily care of your James & James furniture, we recommend dusting regularly with a soft, dry cloth to maintain a clean surface. When necessary, use water and a wood-safe cleaning product for a deeper clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals as they can deteriorate the finish and potentially damage the wood.

We believe craftsmen should stand behind their products. That’s why we promise: 

1. If your item(s) isn’t delivered in the correct color, size (after allowing for our 1” variance), or style that you ordered, we will replace it.  
2. If your item(s) arrives damaged and the damage is noted upon the delivery paperwork, we will evaluate the damage and at our discretion either repair or replace some or all of the product that is damaged.  
3. If your item(s) ever unnaturally cracks or splits, we’ll fix or replace it as indicated in our warranty.
