Solid Hardwood

All James & James furniture is crafted from solid hardwood. No particle board or veneers in sight. Quality materials and craftsmanship result in premium furniture that's designed to last.

All James & James items are made to order, customized to the specifications you select. Crafted from solid hardwood, our furniture is built for everyday use and ready to become your next heirloom.  Every piece is hand-finished in the color of your choosing, then sealed with a polyurethane finish to further protect the surface.

Crafted from Knotty Alder Hardwood, this swing features natural wood grain and open knots, adding rustic charm to any porch.

Crib Size Swing Outside Dimensions: 59”W x 30.5”D x 27”H 

Twin Size Swing Outside Dimensions: 82”W x 41”D x 27”H 

Notes: 

Choose from 10', 15', or 20' rope lengths. Rope measures approx. 3/4" thick. Each rope has a 4,800lb break rating. 

Porch swing cushions sold separately.

Please note that each measurement is an approximation, as these pieces are hand-built. We allow for up to 1" in variation to accommodate the unique nature of handcrafted furniture. 

Porch swing installation is not included. We recommend contacting a professional to install this hanging outdoor daybed. Hanging ropes and assembly instructions are included. 

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your James and James outdoor furniture, we apply a durable outdoor spar varnish. This protective finish shields the wood from moisture, UV rays, and temperature changes. For best results, position your furniture in shaded areas or use covers to minimize exposure to harsh weather conditions.

During winter or periods of heavy rain, store your furniture indoors or under waterproof covers, ensuring proper ventilation to prevent moisture buildup.

These steps will help maintain the wood's natural charm and durability for years to come.
