Solid Hardwood

All James & James furniture is crafted from solid hardwood. No particle board or veneers in sight. Quality materials and craftsmanship result in premium furniture that's designed to last.

All James & James items are made to order, customized to the specifications you select. Crafted from solid hardwood, our furniture is built for everyday use and ready to become your next heirloom.  Every piece is hand-finished in the color of your choosing, then sealed with a polyurethane finish to further protect the surface.

Farmhouse Dining Table

Crafted from Knotty Alder Hardwood, this dining table boasts natural grains and filled knots to create a smooth surface.

The tabletop is 1.75” thick with a 3.5” apron (frame of the table). To arrive at the clearance underneath the apron, subtract approx. 5.25” from the table height you select. 

To arrive at the distance between legs (sides), subtract 14” from the total length selected. 

To arrive at the distance between legs (ends), subtract 12” from the total width selected. 

Dining Chairs

Eleanor Side Dining Chair:

  • Overall: 20.5”W x 23.5”D x 40”H 
  • Seat: 17.5"W x 16.5"D x 17.5"H

Eleanor Arm Dining Chair:

  • Overall: 23”W x 23.5”D x 40”H
  • Seat: 20.5"W x 16.5"D x 17.5"H

These chairs are constructed from maple hardwood.

While our tables are crafted in-house, our chairs are sourced from a reliable USA-based partner. This collaboration ensures that each chair meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship, providing a durable and complementary addition to your dining set. 

Due to natural variances in different wood types, chair finishes and table finishes will not be an exact match, but the chair finish will complement the stain of the table. 

This chair arrives fully assembled.

Please note that each measurement is an approximation, as these pieces are hand-built. We allow for up to 1" in variation to accommodate the unique nature of handcrafted furniture. 

For daily care of your James & James furniture, we recommend dusting regularly with a soft, dry cloth to maintain a clean surface. When necessary, use water and a wood-safe cleaning product for a deeper clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals as they can deteriorate the finish and potentially damage the wood.
