We believe craftspeople should stand behind their products. We also know buying furniture online can seem scary. That’s why we always promise:

 

  1. If your furniture isn’t built the color, size, style etc. that you ordered, we’ll fix or replace it.

  2. If your furniture arrives damaged, we’ll fix or replace it.

  3. If your furniture ever cracks or splits, we’ll fix or replace it.

  4. Your furniture will be ready and delivered when we said it would be.

The James+James Promise is our guarantee to you for as long as you own your custom James+James furniture. Even though we build hundreds of tables each year, our small team is like a family. That means you won’t get stuck behind call centers and big company policies if everything isn’t perfect. The same person who answered the call to help you place the order will be there if you need any help after. Need to reach James himself? Our furniture is handcrafted from real wood and we recognize that's not for some people. Please be sure to read "What should I know about James+James before ordering?" on our FAQ page for our cosmetic standards.

Our Return Policy: 

For Delivered/Shop Pickup Furniture:

We're so confident you're going to love your new furniture that we offer a full satisfation guarantee for James+James delivered and shop pickup items. If you're not thrilled with your new furniture at delivery, our delivery team will load it back up and we'll issue you a full refund. Items must be rejected upon delivery, before signing for the furniture. Items can not be returned once our delivery crew has left your location. In the rare event that your order is built inaccurately or has a defect, James+James will replace the furniture and correct the issue. Our tables and beds are built from solid wood that is distressed and has a reclaimed look. Our finishes are applied by brush. Any characteristics of handmade furniture are not considered defects. Please see our cosmetic standards in our FAQ.

For 3rd Party Freight Shipped Furniture:

In the rare event that your order is built inaccurately or has a defect, James+James will replace the furniture and correct the issue. Our tables and beds are built from solid wood that is distressed and has a reclaimed look. Our finishes are applied by brush. Any characteristics of handmade furniture are not considered defects. Please see our cosmetic standards in our FAQ. James+James will also replace any items damaged in transit, as long as the damage is properly noted upon delivery per our instructions. Due to the high costs of packaging and freight charges, we are unable to offer returns or refunds on shipped orders for buyers remorse.
