Rustic Metal and Hardwood Shelf is hand crafted at James+James from industrial bar stock metal and solid 8/4 Knotty Alder hardwood. The shelf features unique wood grain, open natural knots, and distressed industrial steel with visible weld marks. This shelving unit is listed with five shelves. Call to customize!

Every bookshelf is custom crafted to order, ensuring that each piece features unique wood grain, open natural knots, and distress and weld marks. If you'd prefer to have natural, open knots on the top of the shelves filled with clear epoxy, please select the "Filled Top Knots" option under Wood Type.
As all furniture retailers do, we highly recommend that all bookshelves, hutches, and other inherently top heavy furniture be secured properly to the wall as an added safety precaution.
This piece is crafted from kiln dried Knotty Alder. It is a US grown, responsibly harvested and renewable hardwood. Feel free to contact us to customize the wood species.
