Performance Fabric

All James & James upholstered chairs are made with performance Crypton® Home Fabric, designed to resist spills and stains.

Solid Hardwood

All James & James furniture is crafted from solid hardwood. No particle board or veneers in sight. Quality materials and craftsmanship result in premium furniture that's designed to last.

This stool arrives fully assembled. While our dining tables are crafted in-house, our stools are sourced from a reliable USA-based partner and are made from high-quality maple hardwood and 100% polyester fabric upholstery. This collaboration ensures that each stool meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship, providing a durable and complementary seating option for your space. Due to natural variances in different wood types, stool finishes and other furniture finishes may not be an exact match, but the stool finish is designed to complement the stain of your existing pieces.

For daily care of your maple hardwood stool, we recommend dusting regularly with a soft, dry cloth to keep the surface clean. For a deeper clean, use water and a wood-safe cleaning product as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, as they can damage the finish and the wood. Always dry the stool immediately after cleaning to prevent moisture damage.

We strongly believe that your delivery experience should match the quality of our product. All James & James orders ship with White Glove delivery as we are committed to providing the most premium delivery experience.

Please note: Our stools are not drop-ship items. Whether ordered individually or alongside other furniture, they will first arrive at our woodshop for final quality checks before being shipped. If ordered with additional James & James products, they will be delivered together.

We believe craftsmen should stand behind their products. That’s why we promise: 

  1. If your item(s) isn’t delivered in the correct color, size (after allowing for our 1” variance), or style that you ordered, we will replace it.  
  2. If your item(s) arrives damaged and the damage is noted upon the delivery paperwork, we will evaluate the damage and at our discretion either repair or replace some or all of the product that is damaged.  
  3. If your item(s) ever unnaturally cracks or splits, we’ll fix or replace it as indicated in our warranty.   

Our furniture is handcrafted from real wood and exhibits unique rustic qualities. Please be sure to read our Cosmetic Standards before ordering.
